How to submit

We’ve had to reject some submissions only due to the fact that they lack some information. If we don’t know what kind of posts a certain blog is looking for or how to submit them, it would not be very useful to post them here.

Why this site will work

Right now webmasters are spending tons of energy to get a couple of links to their new site. This list will provide another way for them to earn that link by doing something a bit more productive than submitting to free directories and scouring the net for link partners. Ideally they’ll be able to contribute with something that, for one reason or another, they have ready at hand, or know where to look. Your favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe is valuable to someone. It’s a marketplace for content if you will.

On the other hand there are people that welcome submissions or hints from their readers. This site will help them find even more people that are able to help.

The site also serves a third group: webmasters that are looking for something very specific that they just can’t seem to find anywhere, like the name of the comic book they used to love when they were 4. There are plenty of other forums where they can post inquiries to stuff like this, but this is yet another one.

Boing Boing

Boing Boing, the most popular blog out there, takes in submissions on links to “Wonderful Things”. These include mostly gadgets, tech news, stuff like that. See for yourself. Getting accepted on Boing Boing is not easy but surely worth it.

Sports videos

The sports highlights post needs submissions on extraordinary sports videos. Great goals, compilations, etc.

Do-It-Yourself

This one is a bit different but I’m going to post it anyway.
GRYNX takes in submissions for DIY projects. They pay you $10 for smaller submissions and $50 for larger ones that they include on the site.

What’s a collectivized blog?

Problem: you have a cool idea for a niche blog, but not the time or energy to keep it updated.
Solution: Collectivize it, post it here, and watch your blog grow while all you need to do is review and possibly edit submissions

By collectivizing I simply mean making it possible for readers to submit something. How you do this is up to you, but you can find some instructions here.

Another problem this site may help solve is lack of traffic to your blog or website. Here you can find blogs that take in submissions and reward you with an incoming link. The first possibility to contribute is this site. Post a site that fits the definition of a collectivized blog and get linked. This might not seem too rewarding right not but it may prove to be worth your while since this site is likely to get picked up by some of the billions of “how to get links to your blog” sites.
